We are strong believers in student self-government. In every on-site session, our students explore new ways to take on responsibility and take part in shaping school life. They can draft their own Constitution, publish their own newspaper, and even get to run the school for an entire day (usually a very memorable occasion for everyone involved).
In the first days of winter on-site session, we held the Student Council elections for the very first time. In keeping with the best of Le Sallay's tradition, the process was transparent, open and student-centered.
Eleven candidates competed for five places. Every candidate presented their platform and then the whole school voted. Congratulations to the new Le Sallay Student Council members. We are looking forward to hearing about your initiatives, however unexpected they might be.
