Le Sallay is an innovative blended-learning middle school based in campus in Burgundy, France. Our blended learning program creates a seamless experience between in-person and online learning. We provide individually tailored solutions catering to the needs of families who relocate often or children whose needs are not served in a typical school setting.
With the increased support from the Le Sallay Foundation, we have the opportunity to provide twelve merit-based scholarships for the new students.

we offer the next level of education after completing the middle school program. Enrollment for 2024/2025 has already been completed due to high demand. We tailor our program to ensure that our graduates are competitive for admission into the world's best universities.

Eligibility criteria:
- Age: 10-16 year old children
- Ability to travel to Le Sallay for in-person sessions four times a year for three-week-long sessions and study online for the rest of the year
- English proficiency level of B2 or higher.

- Life Sciences: chemistry and biology
- Math: problem-solving, algebra, geometry, combinatorics, probability, logic, and statistics
- History, social studies, and the history of world culture
- English and world literature: English, critical reading and writing, history of world literature
- We offer a choice of two foreign languages: Spanish, French, or Russian
- Languages are taught with the aim of reaching C1 proficiency levels

⁃ We make use of virtual labs for online experiments, e.g. in chemistry class.
⁃ Students have individual mentoring sessions, where they can share their personal challenges and successes.
⁃ Parents can monitor the student's progress, attendance, grades, and feedback via the school's learning portal.

- All study costs during online and on-site sessions
- Room and full-board during on-site sessions: our students live in a 16-century Le Sallay castle in Burgundy, France, with all the amenities of a four-star hotel.
- Five meals a day: Le Sallay castle culinary team accommodates the dietary preferences of our students
What else is included?
- Sports, tea parties, campfires, field trips during on-site sessions
- Extra guidance, if required. We recognize that twice-exceptional children might be more sensitive and require additional coaching e.g. with reading.
- A year-long support from a professional counselor who monitors the group dynamics and addresses any potential issues on the spot, such as low motivation or stress.
