Welcome to
Le Sallay Academy
innovative blended learning school for ages 10-14
We are a blended learning middle school for children ages 10-14. During the school year, we have four 3-week boarding sessions in France at Chateau Le Sallay. In between the on-site sessions, we study online with 5-6 live lessons per day. Le Sallay Academy has an academically challenging curriculum and personalized learning paths that help our students stay motivated and reach their full potential.
What Makes Le Sallay Different
Blended Learning
Format
We combine the flexibility of distance learning with the emotional connection of face-to-face instruction. Student travel to Chateau Le Sallay in France 4 times a year for in person-sessions and, in-between, study online in small interactive digital classrooms.
Advanced
Curriculum
Our curriculum goes beyond the standardized approach. Math and science are taught at a high level. Humanities disciplines are combined to give students a deeper knowledge of complex topics.
Customized Learning Paths
With a student-teacher ratio of 5:1 and personalized learning plans, we are able to accommodate a wide range of learning needs, including gifted learners and those who need additional support.
Learning-centered Community
We have a vibrant community of students and teachers from all over the world. Surrounded by motivated peers and attentive mentors, students rediscover their love of learning and learn about themselves in the process.
Student Experience
Students come to Le Sallay for many reasons, but all have one thing in common: they need more than what traditional classrooms have to offer. They might need a more personalized approach, greater flexibility, or an advanced curriculum. The blended learning format provides them with a more customized middle school experience and allows them to thrive in an environment where they feel supported and cared for.
  • Gifted and Twice-Exceptional (2E) Students
Our extended curriculum challenges students who are exceptionally able in their areas of strength while making sure that they are also growing in learning in other areas as well.
  • Students With Special Learning Needs
Twice-exceptional and neuro-divergent children, are often insufficiently supported within a traditional school setting. Our approach includes differentiated study plans and the support of certified educators and psychologists.
  • Students Transitioning From Homeschooling
Blended learning allows for a smooth transition from homeschooling or fully remote learning to a selective high school of the student's choice.
  • Students With Unique Interests
At Le Sallay, student athletes, dancers and musicians can have both the flexibility they need and a premium high-quality academic experience.
